KATHMANDU — Nepali feature film Mister Jholay is slated to be screened in Hong Kong on January 14 after it hits screens in Nepal from Friday.
The charity show in Hong Kong is organised to support Dilu Maya Gurung, a patient of kidney failure. The charity show will see the presence of the film’s director and lead actors Dayahang Rai and Deeya Pun.
Director Ram Babu Gurung’s fifth film, Mister Jholay is written by director Gurung himself and alongside Rai and Pun, features actors Buddhi Tamang, Bijaya Baral, Prabin Khatiwada, and Aruna Karki, among others. The film is jointly produced under the banner of Cinema Arts and Teken Khadka Productions.
Mister Jholay is photographed by Shailendra D Karki and features background scores by Kaliprasad Banskota and Sujen Karki.
Gurung has directed films such as Kabaddi, Kabaddi Kabaddi and Anagarik.
